SEVERE THUNDERSTORM – 22nd September 2013

At least two waterspouts were seen, one from Marsascala and another from Dingli / Wied iż-Żurrieq and thunder was heard in some parts of Malta late in the morning. There was also a heavy rain shower in the northeast of Malta early in the morning with 11.6mm in Żabbar, 7.1mm in Kalkara and 6.6mm in Żejtun.
